Moving can be a very stressfull thing and you often might have hundreds of questions. We’ve listed some of the more common questions. If you can’t find anything relating to your question, then please do not hesitate to get in touch by either phone or Email.

Will my goods be insured?

Yes, we have Goods in Transit insurance up to £10 000.

Will you find me?

Yes, we use the latest TomTom with map guarantee. If you know of any common issues that might help us, then please do tell us before.

What if I can’t help with the move?

No problem! Whether you are pregnant, ill, have a broken foot, hurt your back or simply don’t feel like doing any manual labour work, we can still move you. All we ask from you is to simply tell us before the time.

How big is your van?

Our load body is 12 foot long and has a 500KG tail lift

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Reading, Berkshire and will travel Nationally, to Scotland & Wales.

Can I afford you?

Will you turn up?

Yes! This question comes up surprisingly more often than expected. Please remember and also be assured that we do this full time and this how we make our daily living.

Can I ride with you in the van?

This depends on how many men were booked for your move. The van has 2 spare seats (excluding driver)

Is there any additional costs?

No. We do not have any hidden charges. You will only be charged more if there’s any difference in the actual job and the job described.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

In unusual cases we might ask for a deposit, i.e. long distance moves, larger sized moves

How do I pay?

All jobs are paid for cash on completion.

Can you give me an invoice?

Yes. Let us know beforehand and we will email or post it to you.

How long before the time should I book?

Ideally as long as possible. This will not only relief unnecessary stress but also ensures that we are available. We have been able to do many last minute bookings in the past but this can’t always be guaranteed.

Do you do waste removal?

No. We will not remove any waste or go to the waste recycling centre. You might not be aware of this but Reading Borough Council offers a collection service.

How do I book your service?

Our preferred way of booking is email. This puts it in writing and we can reply and confirm your booking.
